Hey how true is the news that the world will end at 12 21 2012?

what is your basis upon posting the news about the end of the world?

This is based on the old Mayan calander, because their calender stops on that date.  But the Mayans died out (or were absorbed) hundreds of years ago.

i dont believe it but i saw  on tv that some native americans believe the same thing even today.  i dont worry bout it cause no one knows till it happens.  i do believe it will happen

It will most definitely be the end of the world for some people....mainly from dying naturally...the rest of us will be laughing our socks off at the ones that believed this c**p.

I had that effing c**p since 2000, as a kid, i was really scared because I thought it was the END, the doomsday, the end point BUT no asteroid hit the eart, no eartquakes happened, no tsunamis or super thunderstorm. no nothing..

If that happends then the London 2012 Olympics are only wasting their precious time.

Personally, it's ridiculous. btw (Have you seen the logo?, urghhh hideous!!)

It really just depends on what or who you believe in.  I refer to the Holy Bible.  The Bible fortunately has no destinctive date.  We are told to be ready and worry not about when it will happen.  Place your faith in God and his plan for us.  God Bless!

the problem with this topic is that people jump to say "ohhh it will never happen, its a hoax, its blasphemy"

if you actually go out an fully research the topic, you will be shocked !

So here again, I will paste the answer I always say.....

FACTS about December 21st 2012......

- The date is December 21st 2012 at 11:11am Universal time

- The sun will cross the galactic equator - we'll go from the north of the milky way, to the south, crossing the middle at this exact time

- The sun will be directly between the earth and the black hole in the middle of the milky way, which could create massive geomagnetic changes...

- The Mayan Calendar finishes. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE WORLD WILL END !!!!! - but it's gotta mean SOMETHING

- The iChing vs Time graph called Timewave Zero reaches a zero point

- The winter solstice occurs

- The sun completes its 25,625 year long Galactic cycle

All the above happen at exactly 11:11am December 21st

I want to point out that on the mayan calendar are comets passing, the fall of rome, the birth of our planet, the nuclear bomb, the first human, the invention of the telephone, the WWW... I could go on and on and on. But my point is that the Mayan Calendar has NEVER had an error it is absolutely correct. - we're on a plan here... this is no coincidence !

So if it ends - the question is why.

No one KNOWS what will happen, but with all the facts surrounding this day, how could "nothing" happen ???

The people who say nothing will happen, have not fully researched this topic - please don't be quick to dismiss it !

AND the BIG diff between Y2K and 2012, is that 2012 is a NATURAL event of the cosmos mainly....

Y2K was man made

just want to add the REASON the mayans aren't here anymore - is becuase the Catholics invaded and said HEY !  - follow our rules, our Gregorian calendar, or die!

There is no truth to it.

It is based upon the fact that the Mayan calendar runs out on 12 21 2012

Ironic that the Mayans didn't last that long.
