Hey i am 13 and REALLY want to get a job. Does anyone have ideas where i can get one?

I feel like i need to help support my mom and be able to pay for things on my own with out spending my moms money.... I always feel guilty using it.

I got my first job in a deli one week after my fourteenth birthday. I think different states may have different laws, but in MD you must be at least fourteen and there is a special form that your high school counselor has to fill out for you. You may want to start at your school, or check into your home state's labor laws.

I think you have to be 16 to work anywhere. I would say stick to babysitting until you turn 16.

And plus, may places now-a-days don't want to hire young people since they are irresponsible (not that you are) and are tied up in school all day.
