  1. i did the same thing as you but never realy thought about what exactly i wanted to do, i got a job in hospitality ( cafe work) and if i could go back now i would have chosen a job that had better career advancments and better pay opportunity, my problem was that hospitality was so easy to get into and so hard to leave and even though i did get into manager positions the pay is c**p it really isnt a good choice of career, i did this for 10 years...(regret) but my advice is because your young you have better chance of getting into something good because you can get a traineeship and young people are more hirable cause they dont have to pay much. just dont get stuck in a job that is **** kicker work like retail or check out chick or trolly boy stuff. and school is not for everyone you will probably find that you learn more when you leave school and get into the big wide world.and when your ready in the future you can always go back to tafe or uni and learn something new. good luck

  2. Where are you?

First of all, I'm not some 30 year old who's forgotten what school is like, I'm 16.

Well, I live in England and in my school they had a thing where you could go and work for like 2 or 3 days a week and come to school on the other 2 days. If u are in the uk then ask about that at ur school or connexions. If not then still ask at ur school, they might have something like that which would defo make school better for u.

A couple of my friends tried 2 drop out and it was well hard for them. The school and the council people were always on their back, and it'll probs just stress you out more than school.

I no it'll sound stupid but sum of my friends that wanted to drop out started likin school again in yr 10 +11. And they proper hated it before...

Hope u can get somethin sorted mate.

  3. Talk to your school counselor, Tell them that your having  problems. you need help getting though your classes.Ot talk to another teacher tell them that you thinking of dropping out. Learning a trade is al well and good, but you don't have to drop out of high school to do it. Please stay in school in will help you in the long run.

    Good Luck

  4. what the fuuck.

    almost 15?

you better not be in the usa, cause if you are.

i swear, unless you have real good hookups,

you aint going nowhere in life.

    good luck

  5. you're teacher is a moron

dropping out will **** you up royally

  6. Dropping out of school will be a huge mistake. First of all, nobody will hire a 15-year-old full time, and even when you are older, so many jobs require at least a high school diploma. Not only this, but you will feel completely cut off from your world, including your friends. My advice to you: find something that really interests you. Dropping out of school is one of the dumbest things you could do. I wouldn't be so foreboding if you had some sort of plan, and you were leaving school to achieve your life long dream or something, but what you're doing is simply giving up on your only chance for a decent life because you don't like it. Seriously, step it up and actually try before you ruin your life.

  7. Well, if you're in the United States anyways, you can't legally drop out of school until you are sixteen years old. If you do drop out however, then a truancy officer would most likely come to your house and either have a serious chat with your parents or arrest then.

Most jobs don't usually hire any one under sixteen years old in any case. If you're thinking about running away and doing all this then you stand the risk of going to some juvenile facility.

So, if you're serious, I wouldn't recommend it.
