we have to have stuff about the 2000 sydney olympic games. Political exploitation and stuff that happened at the olympics that had a positive effect on olympism.

Honestly, this isn't the place to be asking for information to be used in school assignments. You need to use sources that are credible. Sure, the people on here may CLAIM to know what they're talking about, but who really knows.

Have a look around some of the free journal databases online. I'm sure some academics would have written papers on the political exploits of the Sydney 2000 Olympic games.
