I just wanted to know how many women have gotten pregnant after a miscarriage? And are my chances higher to get pregnant now. Or should I wait until my period starts.

  1. I know all about your worries....There is no perfect amount of time to wait before trying to conceive again, but many healthcare providers encourage woman to wait at least a few months to strengthen the chance of a healthy pregnancy. If a woman's body isn't ready to support a pregnancy by the time that she conceives again, she faces an increased risk of experiencing a repeat miscarriage. It takes time for the uterus to recover and for the endometrial lining to become strong and healthy again.

  2. A really good friend of mine actually got pregnant TWO WEEKS after a miscarriage, so it's definitely possible. So as long as you feel comfortable now, and you are no longer sore, then go ahead and try.

My friend had a beautiful baby boy the second time around. I hope you are blessed with the same luck.

    Good luck. Hope this helps.

  3. I got pregnant 17 days after I had a miscarriage (day one being the first day of bleeding from the miscarriage) So, yes it is very possible. My son is now 7.

  4. I miscarried in April 06 and then in May I found out I was pregnant again...i heard its very eary to get pregnant right after a miscarriage...
