  1. The simple test is to jump it from a running vehicle. Contrary to Urban Legend, it is completely safe to jump start a 12V motorcycle from a 12V car. If the jump start works, your battery either needs a full charge or replacement. If not, check the starter solenoid.

Trust me on, over 33 years of riding including 6 years of working at shops that sold Metrics & H-D, I've seen this before.

As for the spark plugs, it is very unlikely that would be the cause of the no start.  The next time you have a sparkplug out ground it against the block and crank the motor to see whether it is actually sparking, it might be that you have some other ignition problem.

  2. check the connection wires form the battery to the starter some times they are just loose if they are fine take a hammer and LIGHTLY tap the starter if this doesn't work check the plugs and replace them if needed

  3. Yes, semi-fouled spark plugs will prevent a sportbike from starting.

With high compression ratio engines, an inadequate spark will be blown out.
