Hey i have a herman tortoise is it ok to get anothor one?

is it alright to get anothor one becuase my tortoise is very only most of the time

if you have the space then yes it is OK, you can get a female or a male it is only two males that can not be kept together with out fighting but you do need twice the space as before to prevent over crowding,

torts dont get "lonely" but yeah if u have enough space it should be fine (i would try and get 1 the same size)

just rememeber torts live for a long time and are small and sweet now but can get quite big and you'll have to give them more room later in life
