Hey i have a pontiac that when i make a sharp turn it starts making noise by the wheel

i have a pontiac grand prix and everytime i make a sharp turn it makes a noise is that normal

the noise stays for a while then leaves

what kinda noise, if it is like a hum you might be low on power stearing fluid, but who knows i havent heard good things about pontiacs, maybe try edmonds.com car appraiser tool i think there is a section on there for common problems

if its a whiny hum and the wheel vibrates slightly, you are probably low on power steering fluid.  also, try to avoid turning the wheel lock to lock.  that's bad for any car's power steering.

I would check your power steering fluid.  Also I would make sure the bearing is greased really good.  Just don't break the grease cup.

sound like you need a new serpentine belt or some power steering fluid in there..
