Hey i have a question about my computer?

i really need help.see i want away and left my computer for 2 weeks on vacation.when i came back it kept telling me i have spyware and you need to get rid of it right? i tried but my computer keeps shutting off.so when i finally get all the junk piled up it shuts down before i can delete it.is there anyway i can make it stay on longer so i can remove the spyware?

  1. Go to -safe mode-by pressing F8 right from the start,but more than once:then run a virus scan program in safe mode.


  2. I would boot from a new install disk, and start all over. Or better yet, if you dont want to pay the money for a new windows disk, get Ubuntu Linux, it is free and you can even download it from the web at ubuntu.org. Or you can get the disk for free and just pay shipping.

    Linux is virtually virus proof and you dont need to be a geek to run it. The old days of ty0ping criptic words are gone. Ubuntu is mouse and click, click and paste just like windows . only better and its free.
