Hey i heard you can make a community lot in sims2/nightlife how do you do it??

Well.... you can do it in any Sims 2 neighborhood actually (not specifically Nightlife).  And it's really simple.  All you do is when you select an undeveloped lot for placement, there's an option after you place it of whether you want it to be a residential or community lot.  Residential is the default, so you have to click on community specifically, but that's it.  Then create a way!

You can also go and create your own downtown. When you go to add you rdowntown you can click create custom downtown.
