Hey i need help in my rooom!?

I have a dark purple carpet!(i cant change it)AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT COLORS WOULD GO WITH IT YET STILL TAKE YOUR EYE OFF OF THE CARPET!

Try sage green. Be sure it's a clear, pale shade that doens't fight with the purple carpet. Place some tall objects in your room, such as a silk ficus tree or art that's placed vertically to draw the eye up and away from the floor. Do window treatments such as a valance or curtains that stop at the window sill. Avoid window treatments that "puddle" on the floor, curtains with a border, etc.

I'd do a little cream or ivory with the sage, too, in accessories and bedding, etc.

Have you thought of laying a large area rug over the carpet? You could cover most of it this way, and if you choose one that isn't real thick, it should work just fine. I'd suggest a pattern, and make sure it blends with the purple, since some of the carpet will show.

i have the same exact problem at my dads house dark purple carpet i put light purple walls and a darker purple polka dots :) i think it looks cute :) i did this when i was younger tho but i still like it
