I just started snowboarding recently. You should defflinitely wear a helmet, and wrist guards. It is very hard in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it's extremely fun.

i found that when your starting out you dont really need the best board you just need something to learn on, but the bindings and boots you should spend alittle more money on.
