Hey i was gone when the preakness ran so can anyone tell me who won the race please?

It was a good race.  Curlin won but just a bit of a nose. lol  Street Sense got the lead late in the race and had a chance to win, however Curlin came up fast from behind and just passed him at the finish.   Street Senses jockey looked back a few feet from the finish to see who was behind him and I just wonder if doing that cut a few seconds off his time....if he would have won if he had just kept looking ahead.

Curlin won the race with an exciting stretch run, beating the Kentucky Derby winner "Street Sense" by a neck with "Hard Spun" finishing third....Curlin had a lot of trouble in the Kentucky Derby and redeemed himself by winning in the Preakness... This now sets up an interesting Belmont race in June with Curlin and Street Sense both vying to become the outstanding three year old for 2007
