  1. in my opinion it doesn't matter how tall you are or how much you weigh.  i have cross country conditioning coming up next week.  what i like to do is after the first half is go home and eat a lot of fruits because they have natural sugar and i also like to eat pasta and drink a lot of water.


  2. Yep... good 'ol two-a-days.

    I got those coming up too.

    First realize that football is more of an anaerobic type sport which means quick bursts of speed. So train like that.

    I would recommend doing suicide type drills on grass. 40 yard sprints. Bear crawls. I like to jump rope hard for 3 minutes at a time for 3 times (harder then it sounds).

    And yes, running also helps, but remember you're not running a marathon, this is football. Run like a mile at a good fast pace, rest a little and do another if you can and so on.
