Hi, I am Italian/American....CIAO ! What make you think that they don't like you? Just be yourself...be loving and you will be loved ! I came in USA in 1955, I assimilated almost immediately....I liked the people in USA and they liked me ! I have much more friends than anyone can handle it....My telephone book  can tell!

you could just be yourself and try to be part of conversations, but dont exagerate in stuff, like: omg! my mom wakes me up every morning by pulling me out of bet and throwing be in the bathroom, in the shower and then she turns it on.. and its freezing! OMG! (thats funny!)
