Hey! im going skiing and i was wondering what do i wear when im not skiing??please help=)?

Don't wear jeans, the good skiers will call you a Yettie!

Ware comfortable clothes like sweatpants, under your snow pants, and if it is relatively warm, just ware underwear under you snow pants. And for the top just ware a warm comfortable shirt under your coat. For the feet ware thick socks, or ski socks.

For your head ware a helmet. No matter what your ski level you should ware a helmet. I am an expert skier and i still ware one. Don't think it wont happen to you.. I lost a good friend of mine 2 years ago cause he fell and hit his head on a hidden rock...

If you are staying in a ski town, and dont live there, then it is required that you wear a sweatshirt with either the word "GAPER" or "TOURON" embroidered on the front.  Touron stands for moron tourist.

OK so you want to wear regular clothes, like jeans an undershirt and a cute hoodie (Burton makes some good heavy ones and they are cute).  If you are walking around town in jeans, then you will want to wear some thermals underneath, otherwise you legs will get chapped.  Hot Chillis is a cute brand and work both under your ski gear and jeans.  You can wear your ski jacket around or just a cute semi-heavy jacket -- you can these at your basic store.  I would also have on hand those fuzzy headbands that go over your ears - Turtle Fur is the BEST, so cute and comfy or a really cute beanie is a trend right now.  Most people here just wear a beanie and thier snowboard jackets.  

If you plan on doing any kind of tubing, or snowshoeing or cross country skiing, you will need to wear your snow pants and ski jacket and hat, gloves, etc along with a pair of '**** kickers', which are neg degree boots, me and my hubby have Columbia's that are -40 degree rated.

what NOT to wear :  

Fuzzy boots or furry boots.  We make fun of you people and its not cute. This includes any form of Uggs - trust me you will get made fun of again

Cowboy hats or skiing in jeans -- yeah that isfor the Texans

Any 'Brand Name' that is not ski/board apparel such as a Tommy Hilfiger ski jacket -- these are not real snow jackets and you will be cold.  Get Ride, Burton, Saloman, etc, these people know what cold is

anything with a heel - you think its a cute idea until you realize you are falling flat on your *** every 5 feet.  Oh especially don't go 'out' with these. Its hilarious !!!!!  The whole area is covered in snow, even from your hotel door to the cab.

Basically when in Rome, act as the Romans do -- My heels now have dust on them and my closet consists on cute hoodies and jeans and puma's now

At the lodge:

You sit around drinking beer, with your hair standing straight up in a famous condition known as "hat head".

Otherwise:

Anything you d**n well please. Jeesh. We aren't your mother. Nobody cares...and unlike the first answer, you can wear those stupid fur boots or high heels. Nobody cares. I mean it.

If you are hanging out in a place where people care what other people dress like, then run, don't walk, as fast as you can to another ski resort.
