swimming 2,500 to 3,000 meters a day, for four times a week is it going to help me loose weight?

  1. Any cardiovascular activity will aid in the loss of weight. But, it is not the single most important variable. Diet is huge factor when considering losing weight. You don't have to deprive yourself of any goodies, but definitely no fast food. Try to prepare eggs or oatmeal for breakfast, follow that with yogurt as a snack several hours later. For lunch, chicken with veggies, for dinner steak with spaghetti.

    I would also suggest for you to change your work out slightly. Try to swim two times a week, and run two times a week. When you run, keep a steady pace for thirty minutes. Running outside is awesome, you get a great tan meanwhile sweating and burning more calories. GOODLUCK.


  2. its a good sosurce of excercise. it will more muscle you up but thats good. after a certain amount of time it might.

  3. I would say so. Swimming is great exercise because it's relatively easy on your joints and muscles, yet it works all muscle groups (one of the few exercises that does this).

  4. If you can swim 2500 to 3000 meters a day, it will help you lose weight if you are overweight, but much better than that, it will tone your body AND give your heart a really great workout.
