Hey just wondered whats the safest car to have on the road?

i got told by a mechanic that some cars arent safe and i really need a new car so i just wondered if anyone knows what some of the safest cars there r out there =) thanks

The Ford Pinto! Volvo is are you guys nuts! The Pinto was the flagship of ford safty and I beleive it still hasn't been overtaken for safty.
