  1. Yes

which is why most places won't tattoo ANYONE under the age of 18...regardless of parental consent...

So odds are you won't even find a tattoo parlor who'll tattoo your "kid"

  2. alright

heres what a GOOD parent should do

    let him get the tattoo

he WILL hate it. and he WILL get it removed.

that'll steer him clear of them for the rest of his life

    or most of it

    happened to me

  3. Definitely too young

  4. Chyea, Well for me its to young, and he shouldn't get a a tatto cause it can give him cancer and you dont want that to happen.

    but its your choice

  5. i don't think so... i think that if you're kid surely wants that tattoo and for him it means something important i think he will love his tatt forever.

make sure that he's really sure about him decision and ask him why he wants a tattoo...have a talk... but i think that he is not too young... im 16 and i hope im gonna get my first tattoo 'cause im waiting for 2 yars...

    bye

  6. Your child will immediately regret it within the first year. You should regret even considering this, shows what kind of parent you are.

  7. A parent needs to set limits based on what is legal and what they consider as practical, moral, and safe for their child.  15-year-olds historically make bad decisions regarding tattooing - don't you, as a parent, do the same.

In Illinois the law is 18 and there is no opportunity for parental consent which is a very good thing.  The law protects these kids FROM their parents in this regard - it is incredible the amount of phone calls we get from parents trying to push us to tattoo their children - we even get BRIBES to do so.  Sorry, even if we weren't going to risk a Class A misdemeanor, we would never tattoo anyone under 18.

Tell the kid to wait.  Plain and simple.

  8. yea.

  9. yes tell your child to decide on a design and everything and then wait a year or so and see if they want that still.

    gurantee they won't

if you let them then it will be a huge mistake

  10. It is. You can get one when you're 18. Be smart and just wait until you are 18. I've wanted them for as long as I can remember, and I didn't get my first until I was 18, and I'm so glad I waited. You change too much during your teens. You will always change... but somehow at 18 you know yourself better than at 14 or 15 or 16.

If you're mature enough to get a tattoo, you're also mature enough to wait until you are the legal age :-)

  11. Yes. I have lots of tattoos myself and I plan to get many more. When I was a teenager I considered getting some and if I had I would certainly not like them now because my life changed a lot in my late teens and my interests altered.

I would recommend waiting until at least 18 if not 20 to get any major form of body alteration like a tattoo or a wide gauge piercing. There are lots of cool things a 15 year old can do with their hair, clothes and make - up.

  12. no I don't think so...ask him witch are the motivetions ...

  13. yes!!!!

  14. Yes because i know you'll get Miley Cyrus on your arm and regret it

  15. I think so, This will be on your body for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. Many people that got tattoos while they were younger regret it now, look at 50 cent.

  16. i dont think so all my friends are 20 years old and got there

tattoo's at like 14 -15 years old and they dont regret it one bit

just get something u know u wont regret for exzample

i got a pink diamond on my lower hip because my name means

diamond. get somthinn meaing full.. =]]

  17. i think u r da 15 y.o kid......nice try

  18. omg your a parent asking complete strangers about YOUR kid

    get some counseling

  19. That is way too young for a tattoo. Most tattooists won't do it anyway. Eighteen is young enough. My life has changed so much since I was that age. What I thought was "cool" then, well, not so much now! I am 32 now, and am so happy I waited until now to get my tattoos. Life changes so much until you are about 25. Remember, one third of all people tattooed at a young age, regret it later!

It doesn't hurt to wait. It does hurt getting a tattoo you regret.
