  1. There is a chance that the male may eat some, so if you can rehome him, once they are free swimming I don't see how that would hurt anything.  This isn't the wild so if you are breeding your Betta's in a seperate tank as it's advised to do so, there should be little to no threat to the fry.  He's not going to make them better if they get sick....

  2. It all depends on the personality of the male betta.  Some will eat the fry once they start swimming around by themselves.  The movement of all those little things in the water triggers their hunting instincts and they can't help themselves.  Some of them aren't so much into the hunting and they leave the fry alone.  If your betta has been in the tank with his fry and they're swimming all over the place and he hasn't eaten any yet, he might be ok with them.  If you're going to worry about it, just take him out.  They don't need him any more.  You don't have to seperate the fry until they are quite large unless they are in too small of a tank for you to keep clean with that many fish in it.  If you leave the males together they will be ok with each other and not fight.  Be aware, once you seperate the male fry from each other, you can never put them together again without them fighting!

  3. You need to take the dad out as SOON AS the babies can swim!!!  Or he will eat them!

  4. remove him rightr away

  5. you need to leave the dad in with them and move the mom but when they are free swimming you need a lot of mason jars ( you have 200-300 fry) to move them into. put 5-7 in each one. but it all is about the temperament of the dad. see what he dose. also if you chose to remove him you have to do it after they are free swimming because he lifts up the babys that fall down and puts them back in the bubble nest.

    hope the helps

  7. This is my expereince with my Betta siamese... Better to take the Fries away, before they develop small fins.  The male will treat them as compitetors since then..

But, bye the way you are lucky to have the fries...as the breeding of Betta is very difficult task.
