Hey my playsation 2 is being stupid and very time i put in a new game or old one it says its not a ps2 game?

can any one help me ive had it for about 4 years and nothing has ever been wrong with it untill now can any one help me fix my problem?

yea this has happend to me before

the disk is either dirty or just scratched

if you have a dis cleaner then clean it

if not try wiping it with something clean

you must have the original PS2 ( the HUGE one, not the slim one)

the same thing happened to me, i couldnt figure out the problem.

I just got myself a PS2 slim, it only costs 130, great deal!!!
