  1. hey.. I found a good website that rocks when finding others..

Check out Sportkin. And others can even let you know how good you are..

  2. First, get a jump rope and use it every day.

First thing you need to do is get your cardio up. Cardio is everything. You cant ever get tired in a fight. So jump rope lots and run every day.

If you want to buy something that will help,,get a heavy bag.

You can get one for about 100 bucks. Aslo get some wrist wraps, about 5-10 bucks and 16 ounce gloves 30-50 bucks.

Most sport store have all that good stuff.

Buy a mouth piece too. about 10 bucks. Its good to train with it in on a heavy bag so you get used to having it in your mouth when you get tired.

  3. first go to boxinghelp.com and check for gyms near you.

you should get a jump rope, wraps, bag gloves, and a heavy bag. In the meantime while you save for a heavy bag you can always shadow box. do push-ups, sit-ups, weightless squats, and squat thrusts every day. after you get a back set up a routine to follow. do it in rounds of 3 min followed by one min rest. some things you can do are...

    1.left jab

    2.right jab

    3.left cross

    4.right cross

    5.left jab, right cross

    6.right jab, left cross

7.left jab, right cross, left jab

8.right jab, left cross, right jab

    9.left hook

    10.right hook

    11.left jab, left hook

    12.right jab, right hook

13.left jab, right cross, left jab, right hook

    14. right jab, left cross, right jab, left hook

and all the other combinations you can think of

  4. Are you sure you want to do this ?

  5. a quality punching bag u can order those on www. titleboxing.com then get some good leather 16 oz boxing gloves i recommend getting all ur gear from Rival boxing titleboxing.com sells those so get some Rival Elite Bag Gloves and Rival High Performance Sparring Gloves. next is get urself a decent mouthguard i recommend Brain-Pad and get a membership to ur nearest boxing gym

  6. Check out the local YMCA or PAL (Police Athletic League).  They usually have boxing lessons & facilities.

Supplies:  Mouthguard first.  Also, get a protective cup for your groin.

You need the right clothes:  Trunks & tanktop to workout.  Sweatpants & jacket for post cool down.  Boxer's shoes or boots.

Your gym might supply pads, headgear & gloves.  I'd get my own gloves.  There are 2 types:

    - Padded regulation mitts for sparring.  You also need hand wraps to compete.

    - Lighweight bag gloves.

Beg, borrow or steal the non-personal stuff:  Shoes, clothes, etc.  Buy your own cup, mouth guard & bag gloves.
