  1. Turn them inside out.

From wherever you want them to start being tighter, make a straight line w/ a marker down to the hem of the pants.

While they're inside out, you can pin them (with a safety pin!) turn them back so they're right side out and try them on. Adjust them, or leave them as they are.

OR, you can skip that and just take a chance.

You can do this on just the inside of the pant leg or the outside or both.

And if you want to you want unsew (with one of the picks that usually comes w/ the sewing machine) the hem of the pant, but you will have to hem it back up again, unless you want to leave it like that.

Cut parallel to the line closer to the edge.

Your jeans will still be as tight as the line you drew, don't worry.

If you have a sewing machine, that's great.

If you don't, give up now and buy some skinny jeans.

Then you're going to start sewing on the line down to the bottom of the pant leg. Remember to do this while the pants are inside out! That's CRUCIAL.

Repeat on the other leg and tada! You have skinny jeans.

  2. It's acutally better if you get new ones :D

  3. just buy skinny jeans from like abercrombie hollister or american eagle!!

  4. needle and thread is required

  5. put them on, pin the excess you want to take out, make sure you can still get out of them. Mark how much you want to take out and sew on the inside. But jeans are tricky to do if you havent done it before, and a normal domestic might not be good enough for sewing denim. If you want them to look and feel good and not rip, take it to tailors.

  6. you dont. if you want skinny jeans, you need to buy them seperate. or try out the 70s dittos...

  7. take them to a tailors. it's too hard to explain how you can do it at home without you possibly wrecking the jeans.
