Hey people who live in England please help

me and my cousin were talking about how we would like to switch places (I said I wanted to move to England and she said she would rather be in america) then she said "if you get rid of Bush and we get rid of Brown it would be perfect"

who's Brown ? he's obviously a politic but what are his stands and political views ? Why might she not like him, just wondering .

please tell

Unfortinatly Gordon Brown is our prime minister and his current political policy seems to be destroying our economy and running the country in to the ground by allowing everything to become so expensive that the average person can no longer afford to live here. Fortunatlly at the next election we will be able to get rid of him and hopefully things might improve, but then again probably not as one politician is as bad as another.


  2. She's just being facetious about the two countries' current leaders who are both extremely unpopular.

    It wouldn't make the slightest difference to you in daily life in the UK or the US, whoever was running them. Both are over-governed and expensive.

    If Cumbrian had written 'George Bush' (and 'president') instead of 'Gordon Brown', it would have been exactly the same from an American perspective!

  3. She means Gordon Brown the british prime minister who took control after Tony Blair resigned.  Couldn't really tell you his policies as I don't think even he knows.  Wikipedia could probably do a better job of telling you about him than I can so here you go
