Hey there i am getting braces soon. I need to ask can i get coloured braces on the NHS or not?

Yeah, course! I have been through the turmoil of braces my friend, lol. Best thing ever - Hollywood smile here I come :*D

I've got blue and mauve bands and you can get pink, green, blue, purple, red, black, silver, clear, yellow... LOADS! You could have rainbow braces if you wanted to! Oh my god I want rainbow braces now..!

get colors clear is boring !! its fun to pick out funky and cool colors get metal all the way !

No - not coloured braces - only coloured elastics - dont have yellow or white, they make your teeth look awlful.

The metal squares (silver) that go on your teeth are all you can get on NHS - you can not get clear in this part.   As previously stated you can only get COLOUED ELASTICS.  The clear metal square bits are only available privately and then treatment would cost in the region of £2000 in the U.K.

I am sure of my answer as my son and daughter have recently both had fixed braces.

you can either get the traditional metal braces or now they have invisible ones. with the traditional metal ones you can have any colored bands on them as you like.
