I went to the doctors and she used her growth charts. First is this chart similar http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nhanes/growthcharts/set1clinical/cj41l021.pdf

Next I was measured at 5'5 and in the 10th percentile in my age group at 16. Now when I asked how tall I would be if I stayed the theoretical height she said I would follow the line of the percentile. So when I asked how tall I would be if I followed it she said 5'4 when full grown. Now this confused me for the obvious reason that it means I would shrink an inch, but I said nothing. Now her chart did not have that table at the top so all the heights were on the left side and the ages on the right, so I think that since she had followed the lines wrong across the screen. Because, this looks like the same chart except for the way it is setup and it says if I stayed on the line I would be 66 to 67 inches. Am I right? I mean she must have made some kind of mistake, because it makes no sense.

  1. Hi, you are correct, if you follow the 10th percentile line on the chart it would be about 66 inches.
