we have an awsome coach and trainer... and he was showing us tandroms and plays that he wants us to learn... how do i get my timing better on 51s my 53s and 52s are good... just its hard to get te contact on the ball with 51s HELP i know how to do the lil skip thing when your waint for the ball and timing it down right for your aproach... anyways i just want to do better on 51s.... Oh and i hit better when the ball is kinda off the net... but the ball is being set close to the net where alot of other ppl like to hit.. P.S. im a power hitter on left side most of the time.... so thats one reason why im not doing to good on 51s just want to improve and i am 5'7'' and a half

  1. I am a setter and a hitter and what we do to get out timing down is our coach takes time at every practice for the setter and a hitter to 2 dependind on what hit we are doing and we spend 5 minutes with each hitter practicing the same thing over and over so we can get our timing down and we consitant at what we are doing hope that helps

  2. Okay, i'm not a hitter, but i'm a libero on a state team and have hitters hitting at me all the time. For the hitting problem it seems like you have the technique right, the question is are the set's always the same? A good setter will always adjust to the hitters, not the other way around. You need to tell your setter exactly what you need, and they need to understand your needs because your relationship is the most important on the court. I'm by no means saying that you should blame it on the setter, but just like you're struggling, so are they. My advice, talk to your setter and give it time, it will all come together.

  3. cally g ius right im a libero 2 and you should tell the setter where you like the ball so you can be more effective
