Hey what did they inject in my blood?

i had a drug overdose.then injected me with this clear liquid.i guess it was suppose to clean my blood.

was it glutathoine?

or do you guys know?

  1. Sorry, haven't been there. Don't do drugs.


  2. narcan most likely. it reverses narcotics.

  3. No clue, but not glutathione. If you overdosed on acetaminophen/paracetamol, it might have been Acetadote (acetylcysteine), which pretty well does what you're thinking. Orally, the stuff is nasty!

  4. Unfortunately I can't remember the name but they inject you with something and it stops's the Receptor's in the brain from taking in the active ingredient.

  5. It depends what drug you took, as different things mop up the metabolites of different drugs taken. Saying 'drug overdose' doesn't actually help us much here...

    If you took an opiate, such as heroin, morphine or codeine, they'd have given you naloxone. If you took paracetamol it could have been been either methionine or glutathione. If it was a benzodiazepine, it'd be flumazenil. If you took something like a tricyclic antidepressant or aspirin, they'd just have given you supportive fluids as you can't give anything to directly reverse their effects.
