  1. I've been surfing since i was seven, and I've gone through tons of wetsuits. In my opinion, the best, most durable, and most comfortable wetsuits are by Body Glove. They have great fits for women that really hit the curves so you don't have a loose, weird fitting suit. Don't be afraid to go for something a little snug because thats what keeps the water out and keeps you warm! =] But yeah, Body Glove all the way.

  2. body gloves are cheap and c**p

o neill's are over priced for nothing and worth c**p

    bare is and ok brand

but if you want the best get xcel

ive been throw all the brands and thickness's

me and my father dive, surf, wakeboard we go throw dry and wet suits all the time

ive been most impressed with xcel

    nice fix

    amazing stichless seems

    warmth AWESOME

    strech UNBEATABLE.

    get and xcel

  3. where are you diving? i surf and dive san diego and use an OLD oneill 3/2 zen zip. in the winter time, i wear a half suit underneath as a second layer and it keeps me warm enough on shore dives, warm enough not to freeze my *** off. i don't have any complaints even though its about 8 years old or so.

i wouldn't suggest a 5mm for surfing. get a 4/3, and if you plan to dive when it's cold, wear another layer of neoprene underneath with booties, gloves, and a hood if you prefer.

  4. well if you are planning to do both you will have to get two different suits because you dont want a very thick one when you surf but when u r diving you do want a thick one        \

the best brand   body glove or o'neil

  5. O'Neill is one of the best wet suits in the market. They make both men's and women's suits. Although suits tend to be pretty generic today, there are still differences between dive suits and surfing suits. Surfing suits either have zipper-less openings or back zippers. Dive suits have front zipper openings, because of your back pack and tank.

Body glove makes lots of good, sport specific wetsuits also. Check out the links.

The best, is the one that YOU like the best, at a price you can afford. Wetsuits have to be TIGHT. They should fit like a second skin, yet still be flexible. Be sure to go to a surf or dive shop to buy one, don't get one on-line. You need to try it on before you leave the shop. Like bathing suits, they are NO RETURN items, so make sure you get the right one. Good Luck!
