Hey who much are chicks and roosters? i know that you can buy them at the state fair, how much though?

Different people have different prices. I would try a sanctuary or petfinder. Or try a local feed stor or hatchery. Tractor supply has them.

Why would you want chicks and roosters? I would get a roo and hens the roo would kill the chicks if he wanted to. I say 4 hens per rooster. and if you get more than one roo you will have a fight on your hand so beware of that.

I would say fairs are more expensive. Some are up to 20 buckd. Petfinder is 8 buchs. Chicks can be 3 dollors or less

The feed stores around here only have chickens in the early spring. Many of the hatcheries still have them available. The cost depends on if you buy pullets (hens) Cockerels (roosters) or straight runs. I bought Pullets which I received in Early May and they were a little over 2.00 each. Minimum order of 15 and shipping was 15.00.

Do you have Feed Stores there?  They sometimes give away baby chicks.  You don't know if they are roosters or hens, till they grow up

I live in Louisiana usually chicks run around $5 or so usually they have the chicks sexed before they're shipped to feed store so they'll get shipments of each and then keep them separate. I don't know anything about State/County Fairs, but I'm sure you'll pay more there. Also if you're getting chicks just for eggs you do not need a rooster. Hens will lay as long as they are able, the only catch is they eggs will not produce offspring. So, if you want baby chicks, get a rooster, if you only want eggs, just get hens and you won't have to worry about all the crowing.
