No, well maybe- There is no way in h**l I would ever want him to play for the Wings.  I would be like Yzerman playing for the Avs- just plain wrong!!!!!!!!1

I think Peter Forsburg was more worried about being carjacked than playing for the Wings!

I don't care what he does but I'm glad that he didn't sign because I wouldn't want him on the Wings.  It would be the same mistake that the Wings made when they signed Uwe Krupp.

Thank God he didn't sign w/ the Wings because then they wouldn'tve won the Cup. I doubt he's kicking himself though because he'll always be a dirty Ave. GO WINGS!

Had he had been injured for the playoff run as a Red Wing he would have gotten dumped on.  It'd been like the Bertuzzi sigining all over again.  I do think he's really down now that it's looking like he'll be a shadow of his former self if he were to return to the ice.

Actually he did kick himself in the butt so he's out until at least the All Star break of next season with a sore ankle.

I don't think there is anything that would have made him sign w/ Detroit. He hates them from years ago. I'm glad he didn't too, I can't stand the prick.

it doesnt matter who he played with, he was hurt hes career is over because of injuries, he didnt help the avalanche and he wouldnt have helped the red wings either, he rarely played.

I don't like Foresberg, but I have to respect the fact that he completely shut down the Wings when they came to call.  He said something along the line of "what kind of person would I be to join a team I fought so hard against for so long"

I love the Wings, but I didn't want Foresberg.  It wasn't just the injuries, but the history.  That guy was around when Claude Lemeiux re-arranged Draper's fact.  He had hard feelings toward the Red Wings and quite frankly I think a lot of Wings fans have hard feelings toward him.
