Anybody remember listening to CKLW ??? It was the rock station for the midwest

How about WGCL out of Cleveland.

I still have WGCL unused bumper stickers.

Oh yeah.

CK - a Canadian station that owned the upper northeastern US, especially at night. That's where Jack Armstrong (who recently passed) first came to prominence.

In the glory days they were it, man.

GCL - same thing, but not as big a spread (signal-wise).

In the mid '70s, I was a jock at WLAC and the PD at KAAY for a while - both 50,000 watt rock 'n' roll flame-throwers out of Nashville and Little Rock (respectively).
