The German club won comfortably in their final UEFA Champions League group stage game and the team trainer was proud of the way they performed in the competition
Bayern Munich head coach Jupp Heynckes feels that the Bavarian outfit was convincing in it's 4-1 thrashing of Belarusian side BATE Borisov at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday. He was pleased by the manner in which the Bundesliga
outfit outplayed their opponents in the dead rubber.
Der FCB were reduced to 10 men right after the interval, but still came out on top as goals from Mario Gomez, Thomas Muller, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Alaba-c10416 secured all three points for them. This win also cemented their position
at the top of their group ahead of La Liga http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Club-Valencia-c38828.
The team trainer claimed that he was delighted as he was eyeing a win which would help them top Group F. He stated that Die Roten were fully focused and cautious of the threat posed by the visitors. He said that the defenders did
well and contained the opponents’ attack comfortably.
"I'm obviously very satisfied because the priority was to win and make sure of first place [in our group]," the coach stated.

"The team were very determined and very alert. We conceded almost nothing in defence. Overall, it was an authoritative display,” he mused.
Bayern boss suggested that he is proud of his players because Champions League is one of the toughest competitions in the continent. He commented that they will get a strong side in the next round, but it will be nice to play the
first game away.
"All credit to my team because the Champions League is such a difficult competition - the runners-up are all very strong. That means it’s good we’re away from home in the first-leg," he claimed."I knew that I would struggle a bit
after such a long injury break, but I’ve trained very hard," he finally concluded.
On the other hand, Gomez scored his first goal at home this season. He has netted just two goals since returning from injury and will be eager to impress in the coming games.
