The China bound wing-back took a parting shot at his soon to be former manager, for using wrong tactics in the closing stages of the game.

Within minutes of taking the lead, Heynckes decided to substitute the goal scorer Thomas Muller in favour of Daniel Van Buyten, a defender. Pranjic believes that the manager made a tactical gaffe when he decided to deploy another
defender to protect the lead. The defenders had done a good job for 85 minutes when he decided to reshuffle them.
"He changed the defence just before the end [of the Champions League final]. Daniel Van Buyten was brought on [for Muller] - that was a mistake. The defence looked good for 85 minutes, and he changed it!" he is quoted as saying
in an interview.
The Croat further criticised Heynckes’ selection policy, as the former Real Madrid manager froze him and many others out of the first team squad. This unfair treatment at Bayern convinced him to look for a new challenge.
"Last season was really hard for me. Heynckes was new to Bayern and didn't include me in his plans. It was difficult, not just for me, but for all of the other players, and finding the right motivation was tough." Pranjic added.
The Croatia international is thought to have received a lucrative offer from a mega rich club in China. He will reportedly earn a staggering €11 million over the next two years and will get several other benefits. The Bayern man
is most likely to accept that offer when he becomes a free agent at the end of this month.
Pranjic is currently representing his country at the European Championship and is expected to feature against Italy.
