The Bayern Munich boss believes that Jerome Boateng needs to understand that it is unacceptable to commit errors when playing for a team as big as Bayern.
The Bavarian giants' trainer has told the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international that making mistakes is unaffordable for him. He also commented that the defender needs to maintain more focus during the most crucial matches because mistakes are
magnified when made on a larger stage.
Therefore, the versatile defender is expected to raise his game to the next level in the bigger matches in order to improve as a player and help his side win some silverware. The player, who can operate as a central defender or
a full-back, has been criticised for his inclination towards losing focus and committing faults.
FC Hollywood manager has issued a final warning saying that the centre-back will not be entertained if he makes any more errors. He added that the player needs to reduce his faults to the absolute minimum. Moreover, the coach said
that if he wants to continue playing for Die Roten side he will have to put a stop to this madness.
"Jerome Boateng has to minimise the amount of critical mistakes he makes. You simply cannot afford to make mistakes when you play for Bayern Munich,” Heynckes was quoted as saying in an interview.
Heynckes further explained that criticism is natural if you commit a grave error in a big encounter such as DFB-Pokal or a UEFA Champions League final or any title rival match. The tactician has his faith in Boateng and believes
the player will come better this season and aid Bayern’s title hunt.
"You are always going to be criticised if you make a big mistake in the DFB Pokal or Champions League finals. However, I'm confident that Boateng will improve." the Bayern boss conceded.
The former Manchester City man joined Bayern last year. He was also criticised for his performances for the national team in the European Championships 2012.
