Question:

Heyy folks ...i really really need your suggestions.. please read and help?

i had sore throat today morning.. but tonight i had o go a party since i had not been to any party since a long time.. i did not take my medicine since i was planning to drink tonight..

i am back home now .. i dont feel alright...but since i drank beer , i am not suppossed to be taking medications..

i can feel my body temperature rising rapidly.. my fever is 1001.5 currently..my throat hurts real bad.. i just drink 3 bottles of beer in the party..

i even have to go to work tommorow.. i have already skipped 3 days of work in this week because of my sore throat

what should i do?? can i take tablets ?? or what is the other alternative? how about Ayurvedic (herbal) medicine ? should that be avoided too?

please help

  1. If you are really worried about taking medicine, i would suggest you not to any way...

    I would say, get a cold wash rag and lay that on your head.

    Also drink water throughout the night and juices. but mostly water.

    Before you go to sleep, use warm water and mix a little bit of regular salt, and mix that together. Then gargle the water, and rinse your mouth out afterwards..

    Ummm... in the morning consider on take a spoon full of honey and vingar.

    Im almost sure that is what it is.

    I think that should work.

  3. It sounds like you might have been coming down with something before you left for the party.

    Take 2 advil  and drink a couple big glasses of water. Advil is perfectly safe to take after you have had a couple drinks, in fact, a couple of my friends use it to prevent hangovers.

    And try to get some sleep  :)

  5. you can take something for your temperature, alcohol interacts with antibiotics so avoid taking them. And drink a lot of fluids, tee with honey, and lemon.

  6. Forget the party. The best thing to fight sickness is rest. Your body builds up immunity more so when you are sleeping. Gargle with some warm water with salt, dont really drink it just gargle and spit it out in the sink.

  7. try slippery elm bark tea or throat drops,something called opera singer drops.slippery elm has been used for a long time.
