  1. I have rabbits and one died of like pneumonia and it was chattering its teeth. You should look into seeing if its okay to put echinacea in their water. Its okay for rabbits and a rabbit almost died ,but I put in echinacea, dandelion  plus vitamin c and it made him better. Are they acting normal? (Echincea is the stuff people give kids to boost their immune system when they have like colds)

  2. Well, she might just be happy,  or she could be annoyed, I know when a bunny clicks it's teeth, it means it's happy, but I can't rember whether a guinea pig is happy or upset, when it clicks it's teeth....

If your cavvy is running away from you she's probably upset, and stressed out, and should be left alone, but if she seems excited and friendly, it probably means she's happy.

    It's nothing to worry about.

  3. He/she could have a problem with the molars.  Are you giving your piggies unlimited grass hay?  It's essential to their diet and the health of their teeth.

    EDIT

Wow, sorry to see someone gave me a thumbs down.  Asker said "clicking".  A click to me is different than a chatter or rumblestrut, which are warnings and dominance actions...

It IS a possibility that if it is a CLICK and not a chatter, that they could have molar problems and need to see a vet.

  4. They may just now be discovering they can make noise with their teeth. Just like people babies learn they have a voice. And they may be able to communicate with the clicking of their teeth too.
