  1. I found this for you, hope it helps

    Walking Through the Tunnel

Hezekiah’s Tunnel is located outside the Old City walls of Jerusalem, in the City of David. It’s best to get there from the Dung Gate (which is the gate closest to the Western Wall). The walk through the dark tunnel is for tourists who are in good shape and want to journey back into time. Be sure to bring along a flashlight (and spare batteries) to light the way as you walk through knee-deep water.

  2. I didn't do it. I'm not claustrophobic but that was too much :-) And also too wet, you'd need to bring a second set of clothes.

  3. I would like to see it.

    Eeeeeee....

  4. Zion Walking tours will take you through there.  It is outside the walls of the old city, in the City of David.  It is full of water most of the year, and you should be over 5'5" if you want your head to clear the water.  Take bathing shoes, as there are rocks on the bottom.  And yes, it is a claustrophobe's nightmare.

That other guy said knee deep water, when I was there it was over 5 feet.  So it must depend on the time of year.

  5. Sounds like fun but I would be afraid I would get stuck or wear out.

  6. Lots of fun. Bring a flashlight to shine into the water and don't wear white... in tight spots you might have to squeeze against the cave wall and you'll get dirty. I had to throw out that shirt... didn't come out in the laundry.

  7. never heard of it.

  8. Wash your feet with alcohol or something that will prevent fungus after you've been through. It's also called the Siloan Pool or B'reikhat Ha-shiloach. Many people buy or bring candles.

  9. No problem at all and a lit of fun. Try not to get caught behind a group thogh, the tunnel is so narrow you won't be able to pass them.

Imagine - a water tunnel dug during the first temple period. Boggles the mind.

Here's a link to their English website. Check it out, ot's really great:
