Hheellllppp!!! Which one is more streamlined: nylon, polyester or polyamide!?

if you know all about different swimming costume materials and the quality of each one, PLEASE tell me......

  1. You need to just feel the swim suit before you buy it. It needs to be smooth in most directions. It also needs to be light weight. If the suit is rough don't get it. Also, if it is for competition, get a suit that is 1 or 2 sizes smaller than your usual size. I would also recommend steering away from Nike suits. They become sagging and discolored quickly and tend to be heavier.


  2. I have had swimsuits (speedo shorts) made from all three,over the years,and polyamide seems to be the most steamlined;it doesn`t seems to attract bubbles when you dive in,and clings more when wet,yet drip-dries quicker......

    nylon and polyamide are the same material. Polyester is a softer material whereas nylon (polyamide) is more durable. Many manufacturers offer chlorine resistant materials that enhance longevity e.g. Speedo's Endurance+.

    The fit of the costume is a key factor in streamlining the body, as a baggy fit or large open areas (e.g. on the back of a suit) will collect water and slow you down.
