Planning to visit Munnar in June end. ALso, any idea of a good hotel in the range of 1500 INR (discounted fare - off season) would be ideal. Am looking for a place from where can access the regular trips DTPC organised. Inputs on that also welcome.

For Nature Zone -- looks like it's developing its site, there's info and online reservations --costs much more than INR 1500....this website below also has a tab "accomodation" with pictures and rates on hotels.

Go to this website http://www.munnar.com/

Click on "Munnar Latest -- Nature Zone " appearing under the Kurinji flower... then click on reservations -- you can check rates and make them online.

Coconutty, thanks, munnar.com is quite an informative site.  Ive booked for 4nts end May and also looking for information on off the beaten track un crowded places to walk, hike, more nature than anything else.
