  1. Italy is a beautiful country, at least that what everyone else says and is advertized. Italians are beautiful people and I think of as intelligent because of their conection to the Roman Empire. I am American and I have never been to Europe, although I like Europe more than America because my bloodline is in Germany. Italy has an awesome soccer team, Luca Toni plays with Bayern Munchen now! I 'am sad that Italy lost to Spain in Euro 2008! d**n! Oh well, Italy is still one of my favorite countries, preserving it's thick cultural heritage compared to other more liberal nations like Sweden and is also one of the most beautiful nations.

    Peace from America ...

  2. In Italy there aren't any problem!!

Silvio Berlusconi and Umberto Bossi are Wonderful!!!

Prodi and Veltroni are very bad.

Hey....I'm an english boy but I live in Italy since 2003

  3. didnt even know italy had a political problem

  4. Very few Americans could tell you what kind of government Italy has, or who heads it.  Most Americans don't understand their OWN form of government, much less a parliamentary democracy.  Most couldn't tell you what a Prime Minister does, or how one relates to a president, etc.  The idea of having more than two parties would probably also confuse Americans.  We have two main parties here, and others are usually considered clubs for eccentrics.  Older Americans may remember that Italy had numerous governments after WWII, because it became a kind of joke here to say "Another Italian government failed."  In general we're often told by the media that Europe in general is worn out and impotent -- the fact that the birth rate has fallen below the rate necessary to sustain the population is often cited as evidence of European decadence.  Sorry to sound so negative, but America is a large, mostly isolated nation absorbed in its own issues.

  5. My father lived in Italy for 2 years. He said the Italians weren't very nice people.

  6. The political problems of Italy are not really reported in the UK. Having been to Italy I know that there are people who think he is great, and people who think he is appauling, but beyond that, I don't really know. As i say, our media doesn't really talk about it much. People know a lot more about the economic problems - the divide between north and south etc. but not that much about the politics behind it. I doubt many of the people here could tell you who led the government in Italy, let alone know any of the details.

  7. Hi, Im Sicilian.....Shuttap a you face

  8. one of the the most corrupt govnerments in Europe

  9. as an englishman in southern italy i'm astonished of il cavaliere's coallition with la lega nord... here in the south we're sunk.......

who put italy in it's economic mess... no other than il cavaliere..

italians seem to have a very short memory....

how come germany have managed to put right the economic differences between east and west at breakneck speed and italy still has a north south divide after unification in 1860
