1/2 Cup=4 ounces

1 Cup = 8ounces

1 Pint = 2 Cups

1 Quart = 4 Cups

1 Gallon = 4 Quarts

1 Tablespoon = 3 Teaspoons

Well generally in England we now use metric measurement. (if you're European you'll probably be familiar with it)

grams, kilograms, litres, millilitres

the old 'imperial' is still sometimes used.

gallon               4.546L

British quantities are different to the American ones with the same name.
