  1. there are earthquakes there but nothing harmful

  2. There is something to be concerned about where ever you go.  The best thing for you to do is to get information about what to do in the event of an earthquake.  Then find out about the disaster plan for the building you live in and the building you work in.

I grew up in California on the San Andres fault and have been through a number of quakes both large and small.  One thing about Berkley, most people there have been through a few quakes too and are more likely to know what to do and less likely to panic.

  3. nature can be dangerous take percautions..have a plan in place to react for occurrence and keep home area liavable with dangers of anything you own falling and trapping/maiming you...gas fuel et cetera

be prepared  and be friends with community for invaluable assistance.

  4. i don't live there but if you want to do so, as for the quakes, well of course they're dangerous, but if it was sooo dangerous there wouldnt be a city there, so as long as you're careful and have a good solid house, you should be okay,

  5. when you read about earthquakes in California, do they mention deaths?  usually not, so the buildings are built to withstand the tremors and the people know what safety precautions to take (like stand in a doorway) to stay safe.  if you know what to do and do it, you'll stay safe.

  6. Sure, they're dangerous; however, most injuries are caused by things falling on people.  Be prepared and know what to do when one hits.

    Here's preparation info:

Be aware that there are about 100 earthquakes a day in California; they're just too small to be felt.  You start feeling them (as in a little jostle) at about magnitude 3.  Things might fall off shelves at magnitude 4.  Damage to weak structures begins at about 5.5.

  7. If you're scared of earthquakes do not move to any city in CA.

  8. Well lets see, California is sceduled to drop off into the ocean soon so no, its not very safe. Plus, there are more mexican people than Americans. Plus, gas is the most spendy there. But, Arnie is the Gov. so it will be O.K. Yup, move there you will love it.

  9. my sister lives there. nothing to worry about. if it were that dangerous noone would live there.

  10. well think if you like in the middle of the USA its like hurricane prone and thats dangerous  the east coast has hurricanes i think

and on the western coast theres earthquakes

so i suggest you either pick hurrcanes or earthquakes  (go with earthquakes, there sorta fun if its not a high magnitude

  11. The big one is coming so you should read up on how to be prepared. As long as you are prepared and have a plan then you should be OK.

  12. well most people get killed not by the earthquake but by something falling on them or fires

so techinally earthqukes dont kill people the buldings might!

and major earthquakes are rare as well

its not dangerours so come on dont worry about it
