Most housing costs for low income housing start at 3000-4000 dhs, and this is with 4+ people sharing a room.  Everything has gone up in Dubai and Abu Dhabi... if you could make that amount with your housing included, it might work.  Most people are really suffering in the UAE right now due to the cost of living.

But there are ppl who live as bachelors with 5,000AED also.

8,000AED is think is very good when compared to others but only if u live in bachelore accomodation with 4 in ur room total, then u may have to pay... 700AED+800AED good healthy food+500AED keep extra... so 2,000max for u... rest 6k save... so come on board... u can very well save... u have a good pay package in hand, dont worry....
