Lately, I have been feeling like I had done sit-ups because of the tightness in my muscles. I mean, I saw the baby's heartbeat on the 12th of August. The baby's BPM was 175. Can someone please help me out? I am so worried about the baby, and everything.

  1. i was the exact same way.  You will start to feel pregnant very soon.

  2. Don't worry so much everything will be fine. Be glad that you don't feel pregnant yet because usually the earliest symptom is nausea! If the baby's heartbeat was fine and your doctor didn't tell you to be worried then just relax and enjoy!

  3. yes it is very normal not to feel pregnant at this stage, many women don't feel pregnant at this stage because they don't look it. just as long as you have seen the baby and heard the heart beat be rest assured that everything is ok.

    good luck and congrats!!

  4. You probably won't feel pregnant for another few months.

  5. Girl u are in luck I am pregnat right now my baby is due in december the 16 and I am very scared my advice is to exercise and it will help the baby develop more faster so that u don't have to be in pain very long

  6. my advice: just relax. I never felt pregnant until I felt the baby move. I started having those crazy pregnancy/parenting dreams the night I found out I was pregnant.

Being worried is natural. Talk to your doctor and join a mother's to be class. Most hospitals offer them for free and anyone can come. Also join a lamaze class. Even this early it will calm your nerves.

as for the tightness in your muscles, if it gets painful, call your doctor. otherwise just take it easy.

being pregnant should be fun, take time to look at all the cute prenancy clothes.

    good luck!!!

  7. Its normal. When my baby is asleep and im comfortable, I dont feel pregnant either, and Im due to have my baby anytime now lol. Dont worry about it, everythings fine im sure.

  8. Lucky you! I'm only 7 weeks and have felt every possible symptom. I pray that the baby is healthy. Congrats!

  9. when you reach the 5-6 month..then you will get the morning sickness etc. You won't be questioning your pregnancy then. Good Luck!

  10. i felt the same way in the beginning of my pregnancy. I swear, if i didn't see the baby in the ultra sound the doc did, i would never have believed i was prego. if you are a first time mom, then the tummy will take longer to appear. but trust , when it does, you WILL feel very much pregnant , specially in the end.  GOOD LUCK

  11. LUCKY!!!

I was lucky too with my first...I didn't feel pregnant until I was 5 months and I actually felt her move. I had NONE of the traditional symptoms. Now I'm 10 weeks with my second and I swear I already feel 6 months! Now I'm worried about how I'm actually going to feel at 6 months! Consider yourself lucky and enjoy it..the things people feel when there are pregnant are mostly uncomfortable anyway!! (BTW, my first daughter is 3 now, VERY healthy and always has been- so no worries!)

  12. yeas

  13. oh, you will reeeaaalllll soon!

  14. Totally normal! Many women dont "feel" pregnant during the first trimester, while others are sick as a dog! Ive been through a pregancy both ways, and my babies both came out healthy & perfect!

    Congrats on your pregnancy!!

  15. I think you may start to really feel pregnant when you start showing, start feeling the baby move on a regular basis, and when you start really getting into preparations for the big arrival. The movement and showing varies for everyone, but should be happening in three or four weeks.

A BPM of 175 is great for 10 weeks. It may seem high, but fetuses reach their highest BPM at 9 weeks as it's developing and the heart rate steadies out to a normal baby's rhythm by birth, and continues slowing as your child grows.

In the meantime, "feeling pregnant" may be helped by reading up on pregnancy, what's in store for you in months to come, baby names, watching childbirth videos (may seem scary, but once you get past the screaming and the stretched vaginas, they are really really beautiful), and actively doing things typical of women during pregnancy. Every time you touch your belly, whether you've started showing or not, think about what's going on in you. Remind yourself about what a miracle of both science and spirituality it is that you are carrying the start of a completely new human being, and rev yourself up for the challenges and rewards of raising it!

Enjoy being pregnant! It is a very unique and amazing gift to have for nine months!

  16. Enjoy the time not being sickly.  You are fine and try to have fun being pregnant.

  17. awww i think its normal your ok..

i knoe your probably anxious though.. but just be patient :]

    congrats

  18. consider yourself lucky that you dont have symptoms yet. Tightness is normal, so is cramping because your uterus is starting to have to grow to make room for your growing fetus.

  19. It's ok. My pregnancy has been very easy too. Not all women have horrible experiences. Give it time, you are still pretty early on. In a few weeks I guarantee you will begin to notice more pregnancy symptoms. Enjoy this time now!

  20. Some women don't have morning sickness at all, some do and it can happen any time of day. But mine didn't start until about 8 weeks in and didn't start to let up until almost 14 weeks. My sister who is also pregnant right now just started to get over her morning sickness at 18 weeks as she started on it at around 12 weeks. My cousin didn't have any morning sickness. It really differs. The tightness your feeling in your tummy could be a symptom though as things are growing and moving. Pay close attention to your b*****s though they are normally the first part of your body to change. Look for veins and for darkening of the nipples, even sorenesss. I think your fine though unless there is anything else that gives you reason to believe otherwise. The baby definatley had a good strong heartbeat it sounds though so that is always a good sign.
