Hi, I have a sony camcorder but this model camcorder does not provide feature to copy or transfer my recorded?

Question

cassette stuff to computer via cable lead , cuz there is no such lead feature available. So I want to know like if there is such thing available in market by which i can download my video cassette ( of camcorder ) to my computer.

Any device which can read this small cassette and download this stuff to computer

I would appreciate any help.

Your dv camcorder needs a firewire connection (ieee 1394) in order to download video, your PC probably did not come with a firewire port, so you will have to buy one and install it, since most computers (except possibly brand new) don't come with a firewire port, your camcorder did not come with a firewire cord so you have to purchase a cord too. Your camcorder did come with a USB cord and that is used for downloading stills from your camcorder.

You would hook your camcorder directly to your PC via a firewire connection.
