Via the USB cable provided with the cam, I am able to convert the pictures and video to my computer easily in "My Pictures". But when I copy them to CD, only pictures get copied, not the video file. When I try to open the video file, it reads as "Winamp has encountered a problem, It needs to close" The error says as "AppName: winamp.exe AppVer: 5.3.2.1003 ModName: ntdll.dll". How to solve this problem. Any expert can help me with this. My thanks in advance.

  1. Your camera is saving video in Mpeg VGA 640x480 - that should be normally playable on PC. My guess is,  you have error in winamp. Try to re-assign file extension and play MPG videos in Windows media player. If that does not help, you might need to add some codec (although as I said, mpeg should be included from wind. installation).

Then try this package: I has more codecs, than you will ever use":-). I have yet to find a videoclip which will not play:

Works for both XP and Vista.
