1. except if you are a computer, and 1+1=10

  2. Hi,

No, 1+1 is always equal to 2 and can not be less than 2.

    Hope this is helpful

  3. No, because your symbol of inequalities is wrong

because you used the less than symbol instead of equal symbol

    here is the solution

    1+1<2 1+1=2

2<2 that is wrong 2 =2 this is true

    remember

    < (less than)

    > (greater than)

    = (equal)

  4. no its would be equal to because in a math eqaution u have to do things in a certain order thus you would add the 1+1 which = 2 so then u would be writing 2< 2 which isnt correct

  5. 1+1 is always equal to 2

  6. I would actually say yes, with rounding errors. For example:

If you are adding 0.9999999 and 0.9999999, but you round them early, you would round them to 1 each, so 0.9999999 + 0.9999999 < 2, but after early rounding it would appear as if 1 + 1 < 2. You kind of learn about this if you ever take a Chemistry or Physics class, the teachers (or at least the ones I had) press into you the dangers of rounding the numbers early on (as in the example there, if you rounded before you were done...), for me the teachers talked about that when they told us about sig. figs.

Now, if you are talking about 1, exactly 1, no rounding errors or anything, then I would have to say no, it cannot be.

  7. nope, sure can't. it will always equal 2.
