Do you mean de doek as in handdoek ?

de doek = the cloth

de handdoek = the towel

de  douche = the shower

de stoel = the chair

het bed = the bed

de doos = the box

de bedkamer is a no-no >> one says de slaapkamer = the bedroom

de badkamer = the bathroom

de wc = het toilet >> the toilet/the restroom
