EDEXCEL do not provide such a list and tell you to contact your Local Education Authority for information.  Your LEA may or may not be able to help (ours cannot, Gloucestershire).

OCR There is nothing online and I have not telephoned them, but it may be worth your while doing so.

Alternatively, just telephone all of the secondary schools and colleges in your area to see if they will take.  They will probably only do so if they use the same board for English.  You will also need to check on their procedures for coursework marking, if they are prepared to mark/monitor it.

My advice is to take an IGCSE if in the future you want to do GCSE in a subject where coursework is required, eg history, sciences etc.

    Good luck

  2. Contact the exam boards direct, this can be done via the Internet and ask for how to be able to sit their exam. They will tell you where they hold their exams.

About our exam boards AQA, Edexcel, OCR

    please visit

    http://www.educationalresources.co.uk/er...

Each is national, you can choose any in theory!

  3. as it has been said you can contact the governing body AQA, Excel etc (all on the web) or your local adult learning center (local goverment website) or have you tried connexions if aged 16-19. Saying that learndirect (freephone/net) should be able to help. You will probably end up sitting the exam at a local secondary school with the students (very weird for someone my age but fun)

    Good luck

  4. Contact the examining board directly and ask where you can sit the exam.
